Pre-Occupational Therapy (BS)

Overview

Southern Nazarene University’s Pre-Occupational Therapy is regionally known for the quality of students that continue into the top graduate schools in the country including University of Oklahoma Health & Science Center, Langston and Northwestern University. The program is designed to reflect the classes for admittance at OUHSC yet students may customize their degree to meet the prerequisite requirements of other specific professional programs. In fact, our program has four core “hands on” courses, Lower Extremity Injury Evaluation, Upper Extremity Injury Evaluation, Therapeutic Modalities and Therapeutic Physical Rehabilitation. These courses are very unusual to incorporate on the undergraduate level—the result is our graduates feel like they are years ahead of the rest of the class in graduate school.
